All candidates for the CNRS competition must indicate at least two laboratories associated with their application.

The TIMC laboratory is a mixed research unit, of which the CNRS is one of the main supervisory bodies. The laboratory is attached to the INSIS (Engineering), INS2I (Computer Sciences) Institutes and secondarily to the INSB (Biology). The CNRS researchers in the laboratory mainly work in sections 7, 21, 28 and CID 51, but also in many other sections.

The laboratory brings together scientists and clinicians around the use of digital sciences, applied mathematics and life sciences to understand and control normal and pathological processes in health. Its multidisciplinary activity contributes both to fundamental research and to the development of systems to aid diagnosis and therapy.

Any candidate for the CNRS competition who would like to be attached to the laboratory is invited to contact the management unit (direction-timc [at] univ-grenoble-alpes.fr), explaining the request and attaching a CV. Support, including an exchange with management on the scientific project and assistance in putting together the application, may be offered to candidates placing the laboratory as their first choice of assignment.

Project applications must be sent to the laboratory as soon as possible, and no later than January 15, 2024 to benefit from support from the lab.
