This presentation explores the various botanical aspects of vanilla. As well as looking at taxonomy, plant structure and breeding techniques, we will also examine the geographical distribution of vanilla, highlighting regional variations and their influence on its cultivation. The presentation will also incorporate elements of ethnobotany, exploring the links between vanilla, local cultures and traditional practices.
Cette présentation offre une exploration des différents aspects botaniques de la vanille. En plus d'aborder la taxonomie, la structure de la plante et les techniques de reproduction, nous examinerons également la répartition géographique de la vanille, mettant en lumière les variations régionales et leur influence sur sa culture. La présentation intégrera par ailleurs des éléments d'ethnobotanique, explorant ainsi les liens entre la vanille, les cultures locales et les pratiques traditionnelles.
