bullet Abstract:

The development of an intra-articular ultrasound system used intraoperatively under arthroscopy could prove to be a major tool for: - the study of the vascularization of the rotator cuff allowing to optimize the rate of tendon cicatrization after repair thanks to a better appreciation of the healing prognosis - the identification and removal of intra-tendinous calcification of the cuff - the study of glenohumeral and acromioclavicular cartilages - the visualization of rotator cuff ruptures, whether complete or partial, thus saving time and improving intraoperative lesion appreciation.
