PhD Defense of Elaheh Elyasi from TIMC BIOMECA team on April, the12th at 3pm : " Biomechanical modeling of the knee joint for computer-assisted medical interventions. "
The applicant will take part in the project “Enteroprobe”, which is funded by the Région Rhône Alpes Auvergne, funded and granted to Pr. Donald Martin in partnership with the company Pelican Health SAS, and hosted in the TIMC laboratory of the University Grenoble Alpes. The postdoctoral applicant will setup an in-vitro platform for the development of the medical device and the study of the small intestinal microbiome and its evolution. He/she will select and develop culture media and conditions for mock microbiome communities and retrieved samples. The applicant will also perform metagenomics analysis to characterize the system. Deadline for applications: 30/04/2021
PhD position with Neutrons for society - InnovaXN - ESRF - TIMC. This offer is related to the following project:
"Nanostructural characterisation of protein interactions with lipid bilayer membranes : basis for biosensor development.". This PhD project is in the field of biosensors based on nanostructured biomimetic tethered lipid bilayers (tBLM) to detect plasma proteins. Deadline for applications: 31/03/2021 - Contract duration: 36 months.
The PhD student will perform a nanostructural characterisation of the interaction between peptide and protein biomarkers and tBLM, and will identify the role of the lipid part to modulate the interaction between tBLM and specific peptides and proteins. These fundamental results will provide the basis for biosensors and analytical procedures that can detect scarce biomarker proteins from other high-abundance proteins and from lipidic moieties in blood samples. The biosensors envisaged are based on nanostructured tBLM in which we have optimised the lipid composition for specific proteins interactions.

The cami day will take place on Tuesday, December 15, 2020. Started in 2012 for 8 years, the Computer Assisted Medical Interventions Laboratory of Excellence (CAMI Labex) has been extended for 5 more years. The 6 partners are eager to present you CAMI collaborative achievements and future plans in a one-day online event. The program includes keynote speakers, presentations of CAMI partners and alumni, as well as video demonstrations.
